Description Viper's Bugloss (Echium Vulgare) seeds - 100 grams (#2417)
A melliferous biennial plant, perversely called a viper, because it can be used as an antidote for viper venom, reaches a height of 100-150 cm. Inflorescences form an upright dense bunch.
Purple-blue flowers with four rod-shaped, red stamens. Small bell-shaped flowers are as the magnet for bees and butterflies.
It looks good in mixed beds with field flowers.
Succeeds in any good garden soil but flowers best when the soil is not too rich. Requires a sunny position. The plant is very deep rooted.
