Description Wintergreen Barberry (Berberis Julianae) 20 seeds (#573)
A dense evergreen ornamental shrub with a strong architectural habit and glossy leathery foliage. Typically grows about 1.5–2 m in height and width. Produces small yellow flowers in spring followed by dark blue ornamental berries in autumn. Very thorny branches make it suitable for defensive hedging.
GROWING CONDITIONS
Performs best in full sun or partial shade in sheltered positions. Adaptable to well-drained, moderately fertile or slightly dry soils. Does not tolerate waterlogged conditions. Young plants may be sensitive to severe winter exposure.
CARE
A low-maintenance shrub requiring minimal attention. Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth or hedge shape. Spring fertilization can encourage stronger development. Water during prolonged drought, especially in the establishment period.

Close zip bag shut and store it in the salad crisper compartment of your refrigerator. If any seeds begin to sprout during the cold stratification, simply remove the seed and plant.
Keep damp soil, not soaking wet. Keep pot in warm situation +20-+24C.
Germination can take 2-3 months. It can be more depending on their degree of unbroken dormancy, don't give up.
